Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from our home to yours!

I wanted to share with you the photo taken at the USS John C Stennis Kids Christmas Party with Santa Claus. You can see the kids look like they were enjoying themselves. Gabriel is 5 yrs old and Naomi is 3 yrs old.

More at a later date - I have so much going on here with my family and so much to tell you that I don't have the time right now. Hopefully I will have all the news up sometime in January. Norm has been "teaching" out at the community college for his "old" employer, Fisher Controls. He is teaching the current welders how to weld so they can pass their certification tests. Norm has been doing this for a couple weeks now and will continue for a couple more weeks (as plans go now) when the college opens for classes in January.

I really wished the weather would stop with the freezing rain. I can cope with the snow we are getting but don't like the ice at all. We have been having some weird weather the passed several weeks. Monday was a 50 degree day here with flash flood warnings in the southern part of the state (Iowa for those that don't know where we live). Then that night it turned really cold again.

Well, I have lots to get done so will "talk" more next time. Oh my! This too shall pass.

Tootles!
